Peer review

MedicianX operates a double-blind peer review process. Every submission is first screened by the editorial office for scope, formatting, and originality (including plagiarism check). Manuscripts that pass initial screening are assigned to a handling editor who invites at least two independent external reviewers with relevant expertise.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts on four structured dimensions: originality, methodology, significance, and clarity. Each is scored on a 5-point scale. Reviewers also provide constructive comments to the author and, optionally, confidential comments to the editor.

Based on the reviews, the handling editor issues one of four decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the original reviewers for a second round.
